Pronouns in the Classroom
This flagship project has evolved significantly from its modest origin as a Google Slides presentation. The table below details the project's iterations.
Professional Development Presentation
This project began as a presentation that I delivered to rotations of teachers during a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion training. The goal of the presentation is to empower teachers with the knowledge needed to correctly use students' pronouns in their classrooms.
Tools Used: Google Slides
Self-Paced Course
It was important that new staff joined our team with the same training that current staff had received. This led to the creation of a self-paced e-learning course for onboarding faculty.
Tools Used: Articulate Rise
Articulate Storyline Outline
In order to take the project beyond an info-dump, I created an immersive scenario-based e-learning project. I began by writing an outline of the scenarios that I wanted to create in Articulate Storyline, and the text that would appear on each slide.
Tools Used: Google Docs
Scenario-Based
E-Learning Experience
The final product is a scenario based e-learning experience that guides the learner through one school year as they try to make their classroom a more inclusive space for all learners.
